Gossip Girl decides to liven things up at the Constance Billard and St. Jude’s graduation by sending out a shocking and damaging email blast in the midst of the commencement ceremony, labelling each of the teens (Chuck – coward, Blair – weakling, Dan – the ultimate insider, Nate – class whore and Serena – officialy irrelevant after today), stirring Serena to come up with a plan of attack – she tries to uncover who Gossip Girl really is.
This leads Gossip Girl to send out a blast with every piece of gossip she has. Serena texts Gossip Girl and asks her to meet her at The Oak Room, but everyone shows up. Gossip Girl says that she is nothing without them, and she is giving them a clean slate for when they go to college, where she will be following them. The Mean Girls challenge Jenny to throw her hat in the ring to succeed Blair as Queen Bee next year, by finding the juiciest piece of gossip. She was going to tell them about Blair sleeping with Jack Bass at New Years before Gossip Girl sent it out in her blast.
Blair tells her that she told Chuck she loved him again, but instead, with Blair’s blessing, Jenny sends a blast to Gossip Girl containing all of the information she uncovered about Penelope while protecting Nelly. Lily and Rufus get engaged and move in together, and get stoned off of something Lily found in Chuck’s room. Chuck finally admits his love to Blair and the two reconcile. Nate decides to go on the backpacking trip with Vanessa because the deputy mayor hit on him. Georgina recovers Dan’s money but he is already going to NYU. Georgina reveals that she is also going to be attending NYU in the fall and requests Blair for a roommate. Carter Baizen reveals to Serena that her father is in Fiji. By the end of the episode, Serena will be attending Brown, Blair, Dan, Vanessa, and Georgina are going to NYU, and Nate is going to Columbia.
