Shea is grooming Madison’s hair, trying to comfort her. Richard, Henry and Trish are inside with her. Abby comes and says she wanted to see Henry, who tells Trish that he’d be right back. She stares Katherine who is in a nearby room as Richard approaches her, giving her a glass of water.
Henry tells Abby that JD had ‘one last surprise’ for him. He then tells her that he was scared.

Nikki tells Cal about the couple, Brett and Lisa, who are in the bar; they were walking down the beach when they found a diamond ring. Brett proposed and Lisa accepted.
Cal realizes that it was the same ring he had lost.
Abby goes back to her room, she notices the window was opened and looked outside. After closing the window, she is startled by JD’s reflection. He tells her that his ‘surprise’ was a Roman Candle in the Unity Candle. He is scared that Henry thinks he killed Thomas. She asks if they heard from Booth, and he lies, saying he had to go back home. Beth says Booth is lucky to not be there and that she hates the island.
Sheriff and Madison are playing cards as he interrogates her. She says that she and her father were in the pool, then played ping-pong in the recreation room. When Sheriff leaves, Madison asks if her father would be proud. She then explain to her mother that she told the Sheriff exactly what her father told her to say.
Abby shows Henry and JD her father’s attic, including pictures of Kelly. They speculate that whoever did the recent murders also killed Kelly, Thomas and Uncle Marty. Abby then flips through several postcards, some which have “Liar” scribbled on them. JD then finds papers with fingerprints on them, someone wrote on it “10 Points of Similarity, 96.3% Probability Wakefield, 6/29/06″, a picture of some people with a man circled and the writing “Wakefield, Tacoma, 6/29/08″. Abby suggests that her father is indeed tracking Wakefield.
Sheriff is talking on the phone as Abby, Henry and JD arrive back at the Candlewick Inn. They tell him about Uncle Marty. They than tell him that he and Kelly would be alive if the Sheriff had told that Wakefield was still alive, but he persists that he already killed him. Abby shows him the picture of the circled man, and Sheriff says that he was only tracking a copycat. Henry and JD want to dig up the grave, but Sheriff doesn’t let them.
Sheriff puts JD under house arrest in the pantry, saying its a ‘coincidence’ he happened to find Uncle Marty dead in the woods, just like he was the last person to see Kelly before she died. Abby then demands Sheriff for the truth. He says the he’s getting her off the island the next day.
