After watching a TV piece that has Daniel leaving the hospital with Molly, Daniel and Betty are approached by Cal to a invite to a Mets game, thanks in part to Daniel’s transformation from playboy to devoted husband, making him a media darling as he becomes a minor celebrity since the former playboy has committed himself to marriage, even landing an interview on “The View.”
Betty is later visited by Matt, who drops by to give Betty a nude portrait of her that freaks out Amanda. Betty gets a offer from Matt about moving in together, and accepts the offer. However, later that afternoon, just as she got off the phone with Matt, she see Henry back in New York City. This is forcing Betty to admit she still has feelings for her former fiance, as she follows his Facebook account to track his whereabout, since he has been in the city for three days.
Meanwhile, Betty and Marc wait to see if their YETI editor interviews resulted in actual jobs. However, it turns out Jodi might be sabotaging their efforts, as Mark tells Betty that Jodi is into gay guys (in other words, Marc). After a exhausting day of interviews, Betty, along with Marc and Amanda, run into Henry…and his new girlfriend Chloe. When Betty tells Matt about this, he tells her that he is cool with this. Seconds later she gets a phone call and runs into Daniel’s office to tell him that she might get a job offer as a editor at the “New York Review.” Daniel then congratulates Betty on landing the job.
At Citi Field, Daniel is given the first pitch to throw out, but when Molly introduced Daniel to a old friend who was married, Daniel mistook it as a hook up from Molly. Meanwhile in the bleachers Betty and Matt meet up with Henry and Chloe. This leads Betty’s thoughts to decide which beau was the better choice as noticed by the “Fantasy Jumbotron,” which was keeping score. After the game was over, Matt asked Betty why she was afraid to tell Henry about the two moving in together. This would put doubts into Matt’s head. At home, Betty becomes more conflicted when she tells Hilda that she is still not over Henry.
Hours later at the apartment, Molly’s behavior is starting to acting really weird, always talking about who he’ll hook up with after her death, and it has Daniel freaked out after what happened at the ballpark, saying that he doesn’t want anybody else even after she is gone.
At work the following day, Betty is still waiting for Jodi’s phone call when Marc came by to tell Betty that he has received a call, leaving Betty to encourage him. Betty then calls “The Review” and after getting the reaction, she shows up at the magazine…to see Jodi at the desk! It turns out that Jodi wanted that job, which devestated Betty. Marc on the other hand, later stuns Wilhelmina that he did get a job…with Vogue!
As Betty returns to Mode while crying her heart to Matt’s voicemails, she sees Henry’s Facebook account that spots Henry at City Park. As the two meet up and catch up with old times, the two say their goodbyes and embrace a kiss…as Matt watches from the background.
In other scenarios, Wilhelmina is extremely upset over Claire being named her boss, which gives Wilhelmina a scheme to find out the truth. Moments later after Claire talks to Wilhelmina, Victoria stops by and it turns out that they know of each other, but kept their distance. This gives Wilhelmina a plan. So Wilhelmina cozies up to Victoria to find out just what kind of connection Claire has to Cal as she gets in good with Victoria by playing tennis, singing torch songs and drinking during the midday, then discovers that Claire and Cal had a affair that produced an offspring that Claire supposedly put up for adoption in another state since she was married to Bradford at the time.
