GERALD AND HELEN TUTOR AT-RISK KIDS, LEAVING THEIR OWN KIDS AT LOOSE ENDS WITH DISASTROUS RESULTS, ON ABC’S “THE GOODE FAMILY”

“After-School Special” – Gerald and Helen get a gig tutoring at-risk kids after school, leaving their own kids at loose ends with disastrous results, as Ubuntu unwittingly joins an eco-terrorist group and Bliss starts up her own fake ID business, on “The Goode Family,” FRIDAY, JULY 17 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Goode Family” is voiced by Mike Judge as Gerald, Nancy Carell as Helen, Dave Herman as Ubuntu/Benny/Brad/Thug #1, Linda Cardellini as Bliss and Brian Doyle-Murray as Charlie.

Guest voice cast: Gary Anthony Williams as Ray/Cop, Tara Strong as Dawn/Mrs. Glavin, Diedrich Bader as Jeff/Lane, and Phil Lamarr as Maffew/Principal Whitmore/Thug #2.

“After-School Special” was written by Franklin Hardy & Shane Kosakowski and directed by Anthony Chun.
“The Goode Family” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,L,V parental guideline.

This episode of “The Goode Family” will be available on abc.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
