Frankie and Mike Have a Hard Time Without Cable TV Tonight on “The Middle”

WHILE THE KIDS MOVE ON TO OTHER THINGS, FRANKIE AND MIKE ARE THE ONES WHO CAN’T SEEM TO ADAPT WITHOUT TV AFTER THEY CUT OUT THE EXPENSE OF CABLE, ON ABC’S “THE MIDDLE”

“TV or Not TV” – After having their power turned off because they couldn’t pay their electric bill on time, Frankie and Mike decide to cut unnecessary expenses – starting with their cable TV. But while the kids adapt to the change by doing other activities, Frankie and Mike find themselves not knowing how to fill the time they used to spend in front of the tube. Meanwhile, Brick and his fellow socially challenged friends are dealt a major blow when the school library is closed during recess and they’re forced into the outside world onto the playground with the other students, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Middle” stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob.

Guest starring are Jeanette Miller as Aunt Edie, Frances Bay as Aunt Ginny, Beau Wirick as Sean, John Gammon as Darrin, Will Matthews as Mr. Siefried, Dierk Torsek as Reverend Hayver, Michael Kostroff as Steve, Andrew J. Fishman as Zack, Mason Cook as Corey, Devan Leos as Henry, Parker Contreras as Eric, Piper Mackenzie Harris as Rayna and Aramis Knight as handball kid.

“TV or Not TV” was written by Vijal Patel and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

“The Middle” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
