Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin), who is succeeding at all of his tasks solving people’s problems, decides to use his good momentum to help out Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) figure out her relationship with her boyfriend Carol (Matt Damon) as Liz wants to end the relationship. Jack gives Liz a ride to Newark Liberty International Airport, where she is to meet Carol, and during the limo ride Liz confesses that sex has been a problem in all her relationships not succeeding and that the problem began when she was young. She tells Jack that at the age of nine she was found by her mother, Margaret (Anita Gillette), squirming under a poster of singer Tom Jones with her underpants around her ankles. Liz explains that she needed to use the bathroom but it was occupied, and waiting impatiently she slid her underpants down and as a result she lost her balance with her clutching on to the poster and it falling on top of her. As a result, Margaret took away all of Liz’s posters. Following the story, Jack gets out of the limo to take in the story.
At the same time, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) tries to film a commercial for the Boys and Girls club but has a difficult time remembering his line. Shawn (Seth Kirschner), the director of the commercial, is frustrated with Tracy. Jack comes upon the scene, after he got out of the limo following Liz’s story, and Tracy wants to introduce everyone to Jack. Shawn asks Jack for help. Before filming resumes, Jack looks at a jar of jelly beans and comes up with a solution for the shoot. He gives the jar to Tracy to so that when he is eating the jelly beans his mouth is moving while Jack imitates his voice and says the line Tracy was scheduled to say.
Later, Jack finds Liz and tries to help her out with her problem, but Liz is convinced that he cannot help her and later they arrive at Newark Airport. Jack pleads with Liz not to break-up with Carol, but she still wants to go through with it. She explains that she will never be able to overcome her sex problem since she could not be intimate with Carol in their trip to Las Vegas. Jack then realizes that her problem comes directly from reminders of Jones as he used to perform shows in Las Vegas. Liz feels better that her problem is resolved and goes inside Newark Airport to greet Carol only to realize that she is to meet him at John F. Kennedy International Airport instead.
Meanwhile, after receiving an “Ice Cream for Life” card from Carvel, Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) gives NBC page Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) her card to buy an ice cream cake for The Girlie Show with Tracy Jordan (TGS) crew with her thanking the crew as the message on it. Kenneth returns with a cake, however, Carvel did not write Jenna but Jenny, so she sends Kenneth to pick up a replacement cake. Kenneth obliges and returns with a new cake and with $23.94. With Kenneth given money back, Jenna comes up with a plan to scheme Carvel. Kenneth wants no part of it, but decides to help out. With Jenna buying cakes with mistakes on them, Kenneth returns them back and gets the money. The plan backfires when Jenna is banned from Carvel for life. The two do not want to stop so they enlist the help of actor Kelsey Grammer.
As part of their plan, Jenna and Kenneth meet with TGS producer Pete Hornberger (Scott Adsit) and hand him a sketch they claim Liz wrote which Pete approves. The sketch is an ice cream eating contest that requires numerous cakes. Grammer goes to Carvel and orders them with mistakes on them. Once the cakes are delivered to the 30 Rock studios, Grammer returns to Carvel and tells them about the typo on the cake, and as a result he collects his refund. Later, Kenneth runs into one of the Carvel cashiers (Jen Ponton) and learns that she was fired because of Grammer’s scam. As a result, Kenneth tells Jenna and Grammer he no longer wants to take part in these schemes.
