Claire and Haley have a bit of quality girl time while they’re stuck at home sick, and Phil is preoccupied by the taunts of a chirping smoke detector. Gloria and Manny’s surprise visit at Jay’s work leads to headaches for Jay, and Cameron gets swept up by all the lights and cameras when he goes behind Mitchell’s back and takes Lily for a commercial, on “Modern Family,” WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
“Modern Family” stars Ed O’Neill as Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Sof’a Vergara as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell Pritchett, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley Dunphy, Nolan Gould as Luke Dunphy, Ariel Winter as Alex Dunphy and Rico Rodriguez as Manny Delgado.
Guest cast includes Reid Ewing as Dylan, Bryan Krasner as Jack, Jim Devoti as Ron, Darren Dupree Washington as Ian, Mike Rock as Jim and Samantha Klein as Deb.
“Chirp” was written by Dan O’Shannon and directed by Michael Spiller.
“Modern Family” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s Selected HD Format, with 5.1 channel surround sound.
