Susan takes baby Paige to the park, but comes back to Tom and Lynette’s house for Paige’s doll to find the couple having sex on the floor of the nursery. Despite being embarrassed, Susan later asks Lynette why she’s never told any of her friends that Tom is well-endowed. Lynette replies by telling her that she doesn’t care if the neighbors think Tom has a “dinky one”. Tom overhears and asks Lynette why she never talks about his… accomplishments. She tells him that they don’t think that, but is proved wrong later when a group of her friends are talking about who’s the toughest on the lane; Bob, Mike, Carlos, and even Lynette and Roy are added to the list, while Tom is excluded. Tom begins complaining in private to Lynette, who gets frustrated and tells everyone there that Tom is gifted in his special area, in a very loud and awkward manner. Tom confronts her later about embarrassing him, and she finally reveals that the reason that she doesn’t talk Tom up to her friends is that she wants them to think he’s flawed in some ways, because everyone thinks he’s a great husband while they think of Lynette as a “castrating bitch”. Tom softens and tells Lynette that she is the perfect wife.
Susan keeps forgetting to knock on people’s doors before entering, thus finding Tom and Lynette naked together, and then a sobbing Renee on the couch. She retreats quietly and then knocks, pretending that she’d never intruded. Renee gets a grip on herself and answers the door. Susan gives her a Birthday Card that came in the mail (the reason why she was over there) and feels bad for Renee, and so invites her on a birthday dinner. At the dinner, Renee and Susan get talking about relationships, and Renee admits that when she was younger, she spent the weekend with a man who she let go, but now thinks he was the one for her, and and regrets letting him go. Susan tells her that she should go for it, not knowing who it is. Renee gets drunk and Susan takes her home, where Renee, in a drunken stupor, admits that Tom Scavo is the man she loves. Susan is shocked, but Renee passes out.
Keith still hasn’t proposed to Bree, as he is waiting for the perfect moment, but Bree feels bad for his father and keeps inviting him on her and Keith’s dates, making it difficult to propose. Eventually, Keith tells her that she has got to stop inviting his father, but only after she’s already invited his father to sit with them that night. Planning to propose, Keith wants to get rid of him, but Bree has another plan. Bree invites an old friend to sit with them, hoping to spark Keith’s father’s interest, but there’s no dice, as the woman is the complete opposite of him. Keith brings Bree away from the table to tell her about what he has planned, but the shrimp with the engagement ring comes and Bree’s friend points it out. Humiliated, Keith grabs the ring and tells Bree to forget what she saw. Bree goes over to Keith’s later to talk to him, but he is gone. She agrees to wait for him, and Keith’s father takes this opportunity to tell her that he doesn’t think Keith is right for her, subtly dropping hints that he is. Brees tells him that she loves Keith, and says she should go.
Gabrielle is still housing Carmen and Grace, while Hector is now deported in Mexico. Carmen tells Gabby that she plans to take Grace and go to Texas, while they wait for Hector to cross the border, and then try to start over. Gabby doesn’t like the thought of losing Grace, and asks Bob if Carmen were to be arrested for being an illegal immigrant, if she could keep Grace. He says yes, but she would burn in hell. Ignoring her sense of morality, Gabrielle calls the FBI. When they show up to arrest Carmen, Gabby has a change of heart as she sees how much Grace loves Carmen, and vice versa. Gabby pretends to be Carmen to get her out of trouble. Carlos picks her up, and tells her that now their house isn’t safe for Carmen and Grace, and now they have to go to Texas. Gabby says her goodbyes to Grace, and watches in tears as her biological daughter leaves her, maybe forever.
Meanwhile, Paul has convinced yet another Wisteria Lane resident to sell their home for his plan. After acquiring the home, Paul finally reveals his plan by putting up a sign in front of the home. It is shown that his plan for the lane is a series of halfway houses for newly released convicts to come and stay, despite having children, elderly people, and nice families living there as well. He reveals at the Homeowner’s Association Meeting that he has, in fact, 7 houses in total, and that if he gets one more, he will have enough votes to move forward with his plan. When he leaves, fighting breaks out among the neighbors, as the poor and the rich divide.
