Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) calls Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) up to his office and informs her that Hank Hooper (Ken Howard), CEO of the fictional NBC parent Kabletown, wants to meet them. It turns out that Hooper was already in the room, sitting in Jack’s chair, and he goes on to tell Liz that without Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan), he has decided to cancel TGS, the fictional show-within-a-show where Liz is the head writer. Jack tells Hank that Tracy is back and that he should give TGS one more episode, their hundredth, and then reconsider. Hank approves of this decision and leaves. Jack asks Liz if Tracy really is back and Liz confirms this and says that she has prepared to help Tracy ruin his goodwill so that no one will take him seriously anymore. Jack then goes on to say that he is tired of covering for Liz before she leaves.

Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) is reminiscing with Danny Baker (Cheyenne Jackson) about their time on the show for the past five years (completely forgetting former cast member Josh Girard and not knowing that Danny just came in last year). The idea of her becoming a mother comes up, which she initially dismisses. However, when Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) suggests she would make a great mother, she reconsiders, and begins plotting to have a baby to augment her career.

It is Tom the janitor’s (Michael Keaton) last day at work when he discovers a gas leak that is seeping into the ventilation system of the Sixth floor which causes strange behavior among the personnel. Liz hallucinates seeing the Blue Man (Rachel Dratch) and talks to it about how her life was better off before. Meanwhile, Tom and TGS producer Pete Hornberger (Scott Adsit) tell Jack that the TGS personnel will be evacuated. Jack tells them that he doesn’t care, but lets them do it. The entire floor is evacuated, and the crew is forced to temporarily work on their episode outside. The evacuation, therefore, delays production on their 100th episode. Liz hallucinates seeing the Blue Man (Rachel Dratch) and talks to it about how her life was better off before.

While repairing the gas leak, Tom inadvertently breaks the ventilation system of the 52nd floor causing Jack to hallucinate that he is visited by several versions of himself, first by an alternate reality version of himself – who fired Liz, and claims that she was holding him back, and made his way to the top of the GE management structure. Jack then heads out of the building.

Jack approaches Liz and severs their relationship. Liz is then approached by her ex-boyfriend Dennis (Dean Winters), whom she had called while under the influence of the gas in an attempt to rekindle their relationship an hour earlier. Liz rejects Dennis, who realizes that she will accept him if she is affected by the gas leak, and undoes the repairs to the ventilation system.

Meanwhile, Tracy is attempting to sabotage the respect he is earned, but his attempts fail, as the talk shows he appears on interpret his crude behavior as artistic expression. He discusses the problem with Jenna, and the two realize his only choice to undo the good will he has earned is to commit a murder. Tracy convinces Kenneth to let him shoot Kenneth on the roof of the building.

In a fit of obsession over having a baby, Jenna tells “Dr.” Leo Spaceman that she got a hysterical pregnancy and questions her desire to get pregnant. Meanwhile, the gas affects Pete to the extent that he falls in love with Greta Johansen. As these two events happen, Danny is singing on the TGS stage and has memories of past events that happened to former cast member Josh Girard (Lonny Ross) before he trips.

With the gas spreading in the ventilation, Jack is then visited by a past version of himself (from the 80′s), who encourages him to take the advice of their alternate-reality self (who is also present). When they arrive at the elevator Jack meets a third version of himself, from the future, who claims that he needs Liz to distract him from his blind ambition as much as Liz needs him, and he will be much happier in the future if he doesn’t fire her. He tells present Jack that Liz is about to sign a lease with Dennis and that in his future, Liz and Dennis get married and live in Jacksonville, Florida. As Jack heads off to the TGS building, the three different Jacks propose to have sex with each other.

Jack finds Liz and prevents her from signing Dennis’ lease (which is actually just, as he claims, a receipt for “some lez pants you [Liz] bought”). Tom tells everyone about the gas line sabotage and Dennis is eventually caught as the culprit and leaves. Liz then tells Jack that she saw Kenneth and Tracy heading for the roof with a gun. Jenna joins them in heading up the roof. They are met by Hank Hooper near the elevators and talks to Jenna about a Daytime talk show. With a focus on a career over a child, Jenna gleefully accepts and after Hank leaves, they realize that Jenna’s hysterical pregnancy had suddenly vanished. They head for the roof and arrive in time to prevent Tracy from shooting Kenneth. Jack tells Tracy that the best way to lose respect as an actor is to return to television (he gives the speech reciting Alec Baldwin’s career). Jack gets the gun from Tracy before they leave.

When they are headed for the TGS set, they meet Tom, who tells them that while repairing the ventilation systems, he somehow broke the elevator, forcing them to take the stairs. They leave for the stairs as a gunshot is heard. Tom talks to himself about how excited he is that it is his last day at work and that he is about to meet his girlfriend when he realizes that he has been shot (ironically, earlier, he shows his girlfriend’s picture to his co-workers and subsequently questions why, as it will “jinx everything up.”).

While Jack, Liz, Tracy, Jenna, and Kenneth go down the stairs, they meet several people (including Brian Williams). They eventually make it back to the TGS set, where Liz discovers that the entire show was written under the influence of the gas and is essentially worthless. Liz again breaks the gas line, and with Hooper and the entire audience affected by the gas, the show is a hit, and Hooper renews it for “a billion more episodes”.

Tom Hanks is watching the TGS episode at home and upon seeing Tracy on TV, he calls George Clooney (who does not appear in the episode) on a phone and tells George to have Tracy removed from the “official A-list”. After hanging up, Tom continues to sew something while singing a song.

Liz and Jack apologize to each other and toast to imaginary champagne.

During the credits, Jenna, Tracy, and Kenneth all imagine where they will be in five years. The scene cuts to their tombstones. Tracy and Jenna apparently die on the same die, while Kenneth died a few days later. His birth date is finally revealed to be May 27th, 1781, after which his hand appears above the grave and gives a thumbs up.

First broadcast April 21, 2011 on NBC Network “100″ is the twentieth episode of the fifth season of the American television comedy series 30 Rock, and the 100th overall episode of the series. It was written by Jack Burditt and the show’s executive producers Robert Carlock and Tina Fey, who is also the series’ creator, head writer, and star.

Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) calls Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) to his office to inform her that, whilst its primary star Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) is in Africa, The Girlie Show with Tracy Jordan (TGS) will have be to placed on a forced hiatus. Initially, Liz herself is optimistic and believes that Jack will be doing all that he can to save the show. However, when her cast and crew hear the news, they quickly scramble to find other employment. Concerned, Liz decides to contact her agent, Simon (Josh Fadem) to see if he can get her any other work.

Jack gets Liz an interview with Nick Lachey as a writer for The Sing-Off, where she meets Aaron Sorkin, who, in a walk and talk sequence, advises her that writing is a dying art and then proceeds to suck up to Lachey himself. Ultimately, Liz is unsuccessful in getting the job, and is therefore relegated to trying to save TGS, which even Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) has lost all hope of rescuing.

Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy has recently acquired a television network for gay men (TWINKS) and it has turned out to be a disastrous ratings failure. Kabletown boss Hank Hooper (Ken Howard) is unhappy with the failure and takes Jack out for dinner to warn him that unless he knows where to find a gay version of himself, he should drop the network altogether. At that point, Jack realizes that there is a gay version of himself, and calls upon his nemesis Devon Banks for help. As it turns out, Banks has fallen from grace with the high society and is living in Brooklyn with his partner and three “gaybies”.

Eventually, Liz’s attempts to save TGS are met with a glimmer of hope when Kenneth informs her that when he talks to Tracy on webcam, he sometimes orders pizza from the same restaurant as she does, which leads her to the realization that he’s still in New York City. Jack’s own plan backfires enormously when Devon Banks brings one of his “gaybies” to work and Hank Hooper, a family man himself, takes a liking to him and promotes him. However, Devon has an epiphany and realizes that he loves his children too much to leave them every day, so he turns down Hooper’s offer. Whilst victorious, Jack realizes that he hasn’t been spending enough time with his own baby daughter, Liddy.

“Plan B” is the eighteenth episode of the fifth season of the American television comedy series 30 Rock, and the 98rd overall episode of the series. It was directed by the show’s composer and producer (and Tina Fey’s husband) Jeff Richmond, and written by Josh Siegal & Dylan Morgan. The episode originally aired on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) network in the United States on March 24, 2011.

The episode begins with Angie Jordan (guest star Sherri Shepherd) headed for a meeting with Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin). Their meeting is because of Angie’s rise as a singer. She says, “My single, ‘My Single is Dropping’, is dropping.” Jack then offers to throw a release party on the set of The Girlie Show (TGS) with Tracy Jordan, but during the conversation, he trips, and gets caught by the cameras. TGS’s head writer, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) begs Angie to get Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) to go back from Africa, but Angie doesn’t want to.

Liz is worried, but Jack tells Liz to convince Angie to get Tracy back from Africa. Liz uses several attempts, at first impersonating Tracy (to which Angie says, “Don’t do impressions of other races.”). Liz then shows her their wedding video and says that she “mixed up” the DVDs of that and the backup dancers’ audition for the release party of the song (which is revealed to be 15 seconds long). This, too, fails, when Liz sees that Tracy came to their wedding with handcuffs and police behind him, thus getting Angie to prove how “exhausting” Tracy is. Liz’s third attempt, sending an E-mail from Angie’s computer to Tracy, is the last straw for Angie. She then proceeds to pull out Liz’s hair (thinking that it was a weave) and explains that she is contractually obliged to “pull out some bitches’ weave eight more times this season.”

Throughout the episode, Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) tries to get more screen time, and promotion for her website “http://jennas-side.com” (which, when said out loud, sounds like genocide from the reality show cameras by throwing wine at several people. While drunk, Portia (Moya Angela) talks to Jenna about her alcoholism. Jenna then pretends to not like it but actually loves it because it will get her more screen time. However, her plan backfires in the end when, Pete, who led the intervention, sends Jenna to rehab. But Jenna hits the driver unconscious and sneaks off to the release party.

Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy is being portrayed as a clumsy gay flatulent, when he talks to Grizz and Dot Com about his college days. He goes on to say that he “went both ways” and was “on the DL”. It is then presumed that he is gay because of his misconstrued statements. D’Fwan (Tituss Burgess) talks to him about this. Jack, in a talking head interview, says that he is not gay, but further embarrasses himself when a fart sound is heard when he stands up from the chair.

Meanwhile, news of Lynn Onkman’s (guest star Susan Sarandon) release from jail reveals to the TGS office that one of the writers, Frank Rossitano(Judah Friedlander), was revealed to be Lynn’s lover when he was 14, leading to Lynn Onkman’s arrest and getting registered as a sex offender. Lynn meets Frank at the TGS office. Inspired by their love, Randi (Paula Leggett Chase), gets them on a date at her studio, and watches them while she is at a pole. While they are at there, Frank and Lynn have an argument because she talks about how he has remained “stuck” as a guy who loves comic books and stuff like that. Frank storms out, but the next day, he brings all his toys to her workplace in a fast food restaurant and puts all his toys in the fryer to prove that he is ready to become the man she loves. However, Lynn is fired her boss, and in the end, Frank and Lynn stay in love with each other.

A feminist blog entitled Joan of Snark accuses The Girlie Show with Tracy Jordan (TGS) of being misogynistic due to their lack of female writers and detracting, stereotypical portrayal of female characters. Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) takes the accusation to heart, and begins to wonder if it is true, when she remembers that the last show, in the absence of Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan), had focused entirely on Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) getting her period in different guises, including those of Amelia Earhart and Hillary Clinton. In order to address the criticism, Liz decides to hire an up and coming comedienne named Abby Flynn, but becomes frustrated when she turns out to be an embarrassing female stereotype, and so seeks to uncover her real personality.

Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) plots to someday become the CEO of Kabletown, but in order to do that he must first eliminate the competition, the current CEO’s granddaughter, Kaylee Hooper (Chloë Moretz). He decides to meet Kaylee, whereupon he discovers that she has little interest in following in her Grandfather’s footsteps and instead wants to become a marine biologist. Jack further encourages her along this career path, even introducing her to Robert Ballard, the man who discovered the wreck of the Titanic. However, his efforts begin to work against him, as he yearns for his own childhood dreams, which were also that of marine biology.

Both Liz and Jack’s respective plans backfire. Liz discovers that Abby Flynn’s real name is Abby Grossman, and that the real reason she is hiding her identity is because her psychopathic ex-boyfriend is hunting her down. This revelation causes a panicked Abby to rush out of the TGS writers room, screaming that Liz is a Judas to women everywhere. Meanwhile, Jack discovers that Kaylee has no interest in marine biology. She had, in fact, found out about his own interest by reading his book, Jack Attack, and was attempting to use it against him in the same way he was her.

“TGS Hates Women” is the sixteenth episode of the fifth season of the American television comedy series 30 Rock, and the 96th overall episode of the series. It was written by co-executive producer Ron Weiner and directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller. The episode originally aired on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) network in the United States on February 24, 2011. Guest stars in this episode include Cristin Milioti and Chloë Moretz.
