Eventually, the two have sex and Jenny finally loses her virginity. Right after they have sex Blair walks in and tells Chuck she loves him and Jenny sneaks out from the bedroom undetected by Blair. Back at the hospital Dan and Serena discuss the events of the night before and their “meaningless kiss” but Nate overhears them, and in spite, decides to send Vanessa the picture causing problems for Dan and Vanessa. Jenny reaches the hospital and has an emotional breakdown and is comforted by Eric who asks her what the problem is and she confesses that she slept with Chuck.

Meanwhile Chuck and Blair are happier than ever and just as Chuck is about to ask her something Dan comes and punches him. He is confronted by Dan and Blair realizes what happened between Chuck and Jenny. She then proceeds to banish Jenny from New York and tells Chuck that they are OVER and that the night had never happened. Later, Nate is seen with Serena at the restaurant in Chuck’s hotel, he forgives her but she tells him that they should break up, or take a break for a while so she can have time to work on her character. But Nate is angry and hurt and tells her that he is done waiting for her. A week later, Nate apologizes to Dan for sending the picture to Vanessa and tells him that he and Serena are over and proceeds to have a threesome as he has taken Chuck’s Black Book.

Dan calls Serena immediately after only to find out that her and Blair are on their way to Paris. And just as he is looking at tickets for AirFrance, Georgina walks in and tells him that she is pregnant with his son. Meanwhile, Jenny is being seen off by Rufus, Lily and Eric as she leaves for Hudson. The season finally ends with Chuck in Prague walking out of a bar very drunk. He is grabbed by muggers who proceed to rob him. He tells them to take him to a bank and he will give them money but they instead pull out a box from his jacket with a wedding ring in it (showing that Chuck was going to propose to Blair). He tells them he will give them whatever they want, just give him the box and as he lunges out for it, one of the muggers shoots him. The final shot is of Chuck lying on the ground with blood everywhere, left to die.

“Last Tango, Then Paris” is the 65th episode of the CW television series, Gossip Girl. It’s also the twenty second and the final episode of the show’s third season. The episode was written by Joshua Safran and Stephanie Savage and directed by J. Miller Tobin. It aired on Monday, May 17, 2010 on the CW.

Hit CW Series to Film First Two Episodes of Season Four in Paris

May 12, 2010 (Burbank, California) – The CW’s pop culture phenom GOSSIP GIRL is leaving the Upper East Side behind and jetting off to Paris to kick off season four in the City of Light. Series stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will be filming on location in Paris in early July for the first two episodes of the season. GOSSIP GIRL airs Monday nights (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) on The CW.

In the season four premiere, GOSSIP GIRL will find a radiant Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Meester) enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris. However, Serena and Blair will be in for a few big OMG surprises when a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene.

“Paris has always been the ultimate extension of our GOSSIP GIRL world — the home of high fashion, Michelin star restaurants, chic night clubs, and Blair’s favorite sweet (macaroons, of course!),” says executive producer Stephanie Savage. “We’re thrilled to be able to share with our fans that this fall GOSSIP GIRL is going to Paris. We hope that they’ll come along with Blair, Serena and Chuck for the first two episodes of season four.”

Filmed in New York and based on the popular series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl is from Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. TEAM RUFUS VS. TEAM WILL (GUEST STAR BILLY BALDWIN, “DIRTY SEXY MONEY”) — When things get tense between Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Will (Baldwin), Serena (Blake Lively) chooses to stand behind her father, while at the Rufus is made to feel like an outsider in his own family. Meanwhile, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) deliberately shares information with Will that may ultimately destroy Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus’ marriage. After many failed attempts, Chuck (Ed Westwick) makes one last grand gesture to reconcile with Blair (Leighton Meester), hoping she will finally accept the fact that they are destined to be together. WILLIAM “BILLY” BALDWIN (“DIRTY SEXY MONEY”) GUEST STARS — Will’s (Baldwin) return to the Upper East Side continues to stir up problems for Serena (Blake Lively), Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and his long-standing rival, Rufus (Matthew Settle). Serena and Jenny’s (Taylor Momsen) relationship is strained as a result of Jenny’s deception. Blair (Leighton Meester) spends time on the Columbia campus and realizes where she truly belongs. Dan (Penn Badgley) learns that Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) has been keeping yet another secret from him. Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick also star. WILLIAM “BILLY” BALDWIN (“DIRTY SEXY MONEY”) GUEST STARS — When Lily’s (Kelly Rutherford) ex-husband, Dr. William van der Woodsen (Baldwin), shows up unexpectedly in Manhattan, Serena (Blake Lively) finally gets the reunion she has so desperately wanted with her father, but the circumstances turn out to be far from ideal. When Serena and Nate (Chace Crawford) continue to have relationship issues, a scheming Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is more than happy to be a shoulder for Nate to lean on.

Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) finds out that he didn’t get accepted into the Tisch writing program and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) admits she may have been somewhat responsible. Chuck (Ed Westwick) offers to throw a wedding for a very pregnant Dorota (guest star Zuzanna Szadkowski) who insists that she and Vanya (guest star Aaron Schwartz) have a traditional wedding before her parents arrive from Poland and find their daughter pregnant and without a husband. Dorota asks Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck to be part of the ceremony and walk her down the aisle.

Serena (Blake Lively) tells Nate (Chace Crawford) she is having breakfast with the Humphreys when in reality she’s secretly meeting up with Carter Baizen (guest star Sebastian Stan). Rufus (Matthew Settle) discovers that Lily (Kelly Rutherford) has been lying to him about her whereabouts. Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr also star.
